Happy Halloween! This is a fun day where some dress up their pals in cute doggie costumes or new bandanas, but please keep them safe by putting up your candy stash! Dogs are great at getting into everything and eating anything but candy can kill. Please put your goodies in a space where Rover will not gain access. A good spot is behind a top cabinet door, or inside a drawer. Leaving the goods on the table or counter is too risky — if it falls, your pup is at risk. Likewise, leaving the treats in a backpack on the floor is too risky. It takes a very small amount of chocolate to kill a dog so please be careful!
